 When your baby is kicking and squirming on the changing table, the last thing you want to worry about is where to put the poopy diaper. That's why experienced moms often insist that new mothers add a Diaper Genie to their list of essential baby gear. The genie is a tall plastic tub with a tight-fitting lid and a special gizmo inside that seals in each diaper to hold the odor. It's light enough to carry from room-to-room. On the down side, some moms complain that it doesn't hold 100 percent of the odor. But other mothers swear by it. Refills can become an added expense that some mothers may not want, or can afford. If you're not strapped for cash, it might be worth a try.
